Water does not wait for you to check voicemail.
Plumbing calls arrive at the worst hour and the customer is usually standing in the problem. A burst supply line turns into drywall and flooring damage by the hour, so nobody leaves a message and waits for morning. They work down the list. Zenith texts back in less than 30 seconds, finds out whether the water is off, and either sends your booking page or flags you for a callback.
- Customer at 23:41: water heater is leaking all over the garage
- Zenith at 23:42: Mesquite Plumbing here, sorry we missed your call. Is water still running out, or were you able to shut it off?
- Customer at 23:42: still going. i cant find the valve
- Zenith at 23:43: There is a shutoff on the cold line at the top of the heater, and the main is usually near the front hose bib. Turn either one clockwise.
- Customer at 23:45: ok got it, stopped
- Zenith at 23:45: Good. I have flagged this as an emergency and emailed Dave with your address. He will call you back to get a truck out.
Nobody at the shop was awake. The customer still got the water shut off.
Plumbing calls do not keep office hours
- The emergencies land between 9 PM and 6 AM, when there is nobody at the desk to take them.
- A large share of your inbound is how much to snake a drain, and it costs four minutes to answer for a $180 job.
- A homeowner watching water spread calls four plumbers and hires the first one who replies.
- Your techs are under a sink with the water running. They are not picking up a second line.
What a plumbing phone actually asks for
Ten call types. These four are most of what an after-hours plumbing line receives.
- Emergency
Water on the floor. The first question is always whether the main is off, then you get the email.
- Price question
How much to snake a drain, replace a disposal, or swap a water heater, answered from your list.
- Book a job
Next-morning work goes out with your booking page attached and a confirmation once they pick.
- Job status
Customers chasing a part or a scheduled visit stop piling up in the voicemail box.
Same monsoon, same hard water, same 4 PM traffic on the 101. If something needs fixing we are not eight states away. We work with businesses anywhere in the US. Zenith is software and messaging, so there is no service radius.
Plumbing questions we get asked
How much to snake a drain? Can it actually answer that?
Yes, from the price list you give us. It is one of the most common calls a plumbing shop takes, and it gets the same answer every time in less than 30 seconds, rather than a callback two days later when the customer has already hired someone.
What does it do with a burst pipe at 2 AM?
It asks whether the water is shut off and walks the customer to the main if it is not. Then it flags the lead as an emergency, emails you the address and the details, and tells the customer you will call them back. It never promises that a truck is already on the way.
Will it put jobs on our calendar?
It sends the customer your real booking page and confirms once they have picked a time, so the slot is chosen by the customer and lives in your system. Booking directly into a live calendar is a Growth plan feature rather than something every account gets.
15 minutes. Bring your call log.
We'll count what you actually missed last month and tell you what it cost. If it's not worth fixing, we'll say so.
Or go break the demo first. It costs you nothing to test.
