Electrical · Nationwide

The breaker keeps tripping and they need an answer now.

Electrical inbound splits hard. One call is a burning smell at the panel that needs somebody today, the next is a homeowner pricing a service upgrade who is collecting three bids. Both ring while your hands are in a de-energized panel. Zenith texts back in less than 30 seconds, asks the safety questions before anything else, and keeps the quote shoppers from drifting to whoever called back first.

  1. Customer at 18:03: breaker keeps tripping and theres a burning smell by the panel
  2. Zenith at 18:04: Saguaro Electric, sorry we missed your call. A burning smell at the panel is not something to wait on. Can you shut the main breaker off?
  3. Customer at 18:04: yes just did
  4. Zenith at 18:05: Good. Leave it off and do not reset that breaker.
  5. Customer at 18:05: how soon can somebody get here
  6. Zenith at 18:06: I have flagged this as urgent and emailed Marcus with your address. He will call you back tonight.

The main was off before anyone from the shop picked up a phone.

Two kinds of call, one phone line

  • A tripping panel or a burning smell is a safety call. Nobody leaves a voicemail about it.
  • Permit and code questions arrive by phone and take real minutes to answer properly.
  • Service upgrades and EV chargers get shopped against two other bids, and the first reply frames the comparison.
  • You cannot answer a phone standing in front of an open panel, and that is most of your day.

What an electrical phone actually asks for

Ten call types. On an electrical line these five carry the revenue and the risk.

  • Emergency

Sparking, a hot panel or a burning smell. The reply is a safety instruction, then an email to you.

  • Price question

Panel upgrade and EV charger ranges from your list, including what needs a permit pulled in that city.

  • Book a job

Quote visits go out with your booking page rather than four days of phone tag.

  • Warranty

Callbacks on recent work reach you as an email instead of sitting in a mailbox overnight.

  • Service area

Chandler yes, Casa Grande no. Settled in the first two messages.

We are down the road, not in a call center in another state. Setup happens with someone who can meet you at your shop. We work with businesses anywhere in the US. Zenith is software and messaging, so there is no service radius.

Electrical questions we get asked

Can it handle a safety call correctly?

Safety questions come first. A burning smell, sparking or a hot panel gets the customer told to shut the main off and leave it off, then the lead is flagged, emailed to you, and the customer is told you will call. It does not try to schedule around a hazard.

What about permit and code questions?

It answers what you tell it during setup, such as whether a panel upgrade needs a permit in a given city and what the inspection adds to the timeline. Anything past that gets a plain answer that a licensed electrician will confirm, plus an email to you.

Most of my inbound is quote shopping. Does this help there?

Quote shoppers hire whoever engages first. Zenith replies in less than 30 seconds with a range from your price list and sends your booking page for a site visit, so you are the bid that got scheduled instead of the one that called back on Thursday.

15 minutes. Bring your call log.

We'll count what you actually missed last month and tell you what it cost. If it's not worth fixing, we'll say so.

Or go break the demo first. It costs you nothing to test.
