HVAC · Nationwide

In August, a missed call is a customer calling the next guy.

Summer HVAC demand is not a curve, it is a cliff. From June through September a no-cool call goes out to three companies in four minutes, and the homeowner hires whoever answers. Zenith texts every missed caller back in less than 30 seconds, separates the emergency from the tune-up shopper, and sends the customer your booking page.

New caller · ChandlerMissed callMISSED
  1. Customer at 20:12: nobody answered. ac quit and the house is at 104
  2. Zenith at 20:13: This is Copper Peak Cooling, sorry we missed your call. Is the outdoor unit running at all?
  3. Customer at 20:13: outside fan spins but the air coming out is warm
  4. Zenith at 20:14: That usually points at the capacitor or a low charge. What is your cross street?
  5. Customer at 20:14: Ray and McQueen, Chandler
  6. Zenith at 20:15: You are in our area. First open slot is 7:00 AM tomorrow. Grab it here: copperpeakcooling.com/book

Three minutes. The owner was on a roof in Gilbert for all of it.

What your phone sounds like from June to September

  • Call volume triples between June and September. Your tech count does not.
  • No-cool calls land after 5 PM, when a 108 degree afternoon has left the house at 96 inside.
  • A $89 tune-up shopper and a $6,000 compressor failure sound identical for the first ten seconds.
  • On a heat advisory day, an unanswered ring is a homeowner already tapping the next result in the map pack.

What an HVAC phone actually asks for

Ten call types, ranked by what shows up on an HVAC line in the summer.

  • Emergency

No cool during a heat advisory. Flagged and emailed to you first, and the customer is told you will call.

  • Book a job

Most summer callers want the earliest slot, not a quote. They get your booking page and a confirmation.

  • Price question

Tune-up rates and the diagnostic fee, answered from your price list instead of a callback tomorrow.

  • Hours

Callers at 9 PM want to know when you start. They book the 7 AM instead of calling someone else at 8.

  • Service area

Queen Creek yes, Casa Grande no. The answer arrives before it costs you a truck roll.

Wherever you are, the system runs on your hours, your prices and your service area. We work with businesses anywhere in the US. Zenith is software and messaging, so there is no service radius.

HVAC questions we get asked

Can it tell a no-cool emergency from a tune-up call?

Yes. It asks what the system is doing and whether anyone in the house is at risk, then flags the urgent ones, emails you the details, and tells the customer you will call them back. Maintenance and tune-up callers get a price from your list and your booking page.

What happens on a 115 degree Saturday when 20 calls come in at once?

All 20 get a text back in less than 30 seconds. Volume does not slow the reply down, because nothing is queued behind a person. You get one email per lead with what the customer actually said, so you can work the list in the order you want.

Does it know our tune-up pricing and diagnostic fee?

It answers from the price list you hand us during setup, including seasonal tune-up rates and the after-hours diagnostic fee. Anything outside that list gets a straight answer that a human will confirm, plus an email to you.

15 minutes. Bring your call log.

We'll count what you actually missed last month and tell you what it cost. If it's not worth fixing, we'll say so.

Or go break the demo first. It costs you nothing to test.
